Lamar county Judge denies bond third time in a row, murder-for-hire suspects

LAMAR COUNTY, Miss. - For the third time in a row, a Lamar county Judge refused to allow bond for two men accused of conspiracy to murder a member of the state college board.

County Judge Billy Andrews denied bond for Howard Cameron, 47, and Glenn Evans, 46 (left and right pics).

The two, along with alleged mastermind Victor Mitchell (center), conspired to kidnap Hattiesburg businessman Tommy Duff in an effort to extort him for money.

The three were arrested in November when their alleged murder-for-hire scheme was discovered by under cover agents.
