Seminary High's Felix McCullum signs with William Carey
SEMINARY, Miss. - Seminary High's Felix McCullum had his signing day Thursday.
The three-sport Bulldog athlete was surrounded by his family, friends, teammates, and coaches as he officially made it known that he will be playing for the William Carey Crusaders next year.
Left fielder, Felix McCullum said, "I'm just happy, excited and ready to play college ball. Just the competition is pushing me to get better. I'm going in there to work hard and just try to work for a position."
"Just every day he leads by example. It's not a thing where he's hooping and hollering and trying to motivate through sound. He does it through action. And, that's been the key for him," said head coach, Jeff Graves.
Graves said McCullum has been an asset to the team since he was an 8th grader.
