Laurel man arrested in drug bust

JASPER COUNTY, Miss. - One Laurel man has been arrested in Jasper County.
Sheriff, Randy Johnson said Matthew Easterwood was pulled over for a traffic stop on County Road 21.
Deputies noticed he was intoxicated and searched his vehicle. Deputies found 12 small bags of heroin.
Easterwood is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI other, and, reckless driving.
