HPD sought shooting suspect

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Hattiesburg Police responded to shots being fired Saturday in the 600 Block of Bowling Avenue.

Police said a person who witnessed the shooting told them a man pulled up and got out of his vehicle and began shooting near him, and missed him. The suspect then fled the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
