USM's Asbury Hall, special ceremony

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss’ College of Nursing held a special ceremony Friday to thank all of those who helped support the college transition into its new building.

Dr. Katherine Nugent, Dean of College of Nursing said, "This day is very special for us because it's just the accumulation of all the hard work that we have done. The building is adequate with love for the size of our programs, for our faculty, and for our students. So, to have this building built and to be able to move into it, we are ecstatic."

Asbury Hall has a 135 percent increase of square footage compared to its old building.
