Bay Springs shooting lands man in jail, 1 dead

BAY SPRINGS, Miss. - One man was shot to death Friday morning outside of his job.

Tony Wedgeworth, Bay Springs Assistant Chief of Police said Raffael Franklin, 27, shot and killed Eddie Davis, 25, at Peco Food Industries.

Wedgeworth said Davis was shot several times.

Franklin left the scene, went to Laurel, and was arrested by Jones County Deputies.

The investigation is ongoing.
