Petal man kills his own son

PETAL, Miss. - A man died Friday morning due to the hands of his father.

Petal detective, Sammy Ray said Raymond Armstrong, 75, shot his son, Ray J Armstrong, 30, multiple times on Sherill Street.

The victim was taken to the hospital and was pronounced dead.

Armstrong is being charged with murder.

His bond is set at $100,000.
