LPD breaks Drug Take Back record

LAUREL, Miss. - The Laurel Police Department had its Drug Take Back event Saturday, which gave people the opportunity to throw away unwanted or expired prescription drugs.

The department produced its best result ever by collecting 187lbs of drugs.

The department has now collected around 600lbs of prescription drugs of the seven times of doing this.
