Hattiesburg Gander Mountain undergoing liquidation process

HATTIESBURG, MS. - Hattiesburg's Gander Mountain posted store closing signs early Thursday morning.

Management told FOX 23 News the store is going through a liquidation process and was bought out by Camping World.

The store currently has 40 employees. Workers found out Monday they were "indeed" liquidating.

The Hattiesburg location will find out May 15 if it will be one of the stores that Camping World will keep.

According to management, Camping World may keep between 20-80 stories.
