Over a dozen county employees work at the former Forrest County Jail

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The old Forrest County Jail has been renovated.

The former county jail now serves as the new home to about 20 county employees.

The public defender’s office and the drug court will be held at this facility. The other space in the building is currently being used for storage.

It costs around $150,000 to renovate the facility.
