Hattiesburg seniors celebrate masquerade prom

HATTIESBURG, MS. - Hattiesburg seniors celebrated the city's annual Senior Prom at the Jackie Dole Center Tuesday.

Around 500 plus seniors attended the event. The theme this year is Masquerade.

Residents enjoyed live music, food, and dancing. Jeane Clair Monroe, Community Relations Director for First Light Home Care said, "We want them to be part of the community no matter what age they are."

She added, "There is not a lot of events for the senior adult population and that is something that we try to provide for them every year."
