Broadway and Television actor performs for Festival South

HATTIESBURG, MS. - A Broadway and Television actor made his way to Hattiesburg to perform for Festival South Friday night.

Kyle Dean Massey is an American actor best known for his work on Broadway in Pippin, Next To Normal, Wicked and more. Massey has also been seen on ABC's Nashville.

Massey is a southern native from Jonesboro, Arkansas. He said he appreciates performing for small towns and

showcasing the importance of the arts.

“You know on stage we are always playing other characters, and in these events it really is just me" said Massey.

He continued, "My own life story, and why I like doing what I do. So that is the difference between doing this and actually be on a Broadway show.”

He will perform a concert cabaret at the Bottling Company downtown Friday at 7:30 p.m.
