MS unemployment lowest ever Governor Bryant says

MISSISSIPPI - The Mississippi unemployment rate in May 2017 was announced Friday.

According to Governor Phil Bryant the rate is at 4.9%.

Governor Bryant said on a Facebook Post this is the lowest unemployment rate since the Department of Labor began publishing state unemployment rates in January 1976.

"I'm proud of our Mississippi workforce and business community. Please share to let others know Mississippi is open for business" said Gov. Bryant
