Multiple teens arrested for attempted armed robbery

LAUREL, Miss. - Three teenagers have been arrested for attempted armed robbery.

Laurel Police said Marquez Lang,15, Ernest Mayfield III,16, and Jarquavous Jackson,18, used a handgun to try and rob two victims in the 1000 Block of North 4th Avenue.

Police arrested the suspects a short time after the incident occurred.

All three suspects face two counts of attempted armed robbery and will be charged as adults.
