The Chronicle shuts down

LAUREL, Miss. - The Chronicle is calling it quits after five years of serving the Jones County community with journalism.

The Chronicle published its last issue Wednesday for Laurel, Ellisville, and Jones County, and thanks the community for its support.

The Chronicle will officially close Friday.
