Man suffers from multiple gunshot wounds

Hattiesburg, Miss. - This is a press release from Hattiesburg Police Department.

On July 9, 2017 HPD officers were dispatched to 3901 W. 4th Street, Oakwood Apartments, in reference to shooting. Upon their arrival Officers met with two black males, one having multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim stated two unknown black males fired several shots at them while they were in the parking lot. The victim of the assault suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
