HPD investigates a woman's death

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Hattiesburg Police are investigating how a woman died Monday morning.

Hattiesburg Police said the victim's sister told Forrest County Deputy Coroner, Lisa Klem that she found the victim unresponsive at her residence at 208 Gordon Street. She was taken to Forrest General Hospital, where she passed away.

The victim's body will be sent to the state crime lab for an autopsy.
