Perry County man arrested for shooting a person in the head

PERRY COUNTY, Miss. - One man has been arrested for a shooting incident.

Perry County Deputies said Cyrus Street, 26, shot a man in the head Thursday on Forrest Lake Road. The victim was transported to Forrest General Hospital, and is in stable condition.

Deputies arrested Street, and he is charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
