Jones Co. Deputies pass out school supplies to kids

JONES COUNTY, Miss. - Jones County Deputies were at five different locations Thursday passing out school supplies to kids.

Deputies have been doing this for a few years now, and are excited to keep giving back to the community.

Lance Williams, Sergeant of Jones County patrol division said, "It feels good giving back to the community to these less fortunate kids who cannot afford to buy the school supplies. They're happy and they're glad to get these bags."

A total of 1,200 school supply bags were passed out to children.
