Woman helps inmate escape Hattiesburg court hearing

Hattiesburg, Miss. - Hattiesburg Police Department arrested Diamond Kidd Monday afternoon.

Kidd used a vehicle to help an inmate escape his court hearing at the Hattiesburg Municipal Court around 9:30am.

Kidd will face a felony charge of aiding an escape from custody.

This is an ongoing internal and criminal investigation.
