Largest marijuana farm discovered in Jeff Davis county
JEFFERSON DAVIS COUNTY, MS. - Mississippi narcotic agents have discovered the largest marijuana farm in over 35 years.
A tip lead authorities to an area in Jefferson Davis County off Polk Oatis Road. Officials found 21,000 plants growing in five separate fields.

Authorities say the area was almost unaccessible by land so agents in helicopters flew over the area to find the fields.
Bulldozers were later brought in to cut a path. Officials say nearly 12 acres were well irrigated and included make shift living quarters.
No arrests have been made, but agents say they have some good leads.
