Sexual contact with an 8-year-old girl lands one man in jail

FORREST COUNTY, Miss. - One man has been arrested for sexual assaulting an eight-year-old girl.

Hattiesburg Police said a recorded phone call between Sean Turner, 29, and his girlfriend's eight-year-old, daughter described the alleged incident.

The U.S. Marshall's Task Force arrested Turner Sunday in Lamar County. He was then transported to Forrest County Jail, and is charged with sexual battery, with the victim being under 14 years of age.
