Hattiesburg police searching for armed robbers

HATTIESBURG, MS. - The Hattiesburg Police Department needs the public's help searching for two armed robbers.

Both suspects robbed Shell Finish Line Station on 2306 Hardy Street on July 18.

HPD Spokeswoman Latosha Mitchell-Myers says, "Two black male suspects entered the store with their faces covered."

Surveillance footage shows one suspect displaying a weapon to the clerk, while the other suspect collected money from the register.

"The suspects obtained cash and cigarettes from the store and fled the area on foot" she says.
