ELLISVILLE, Miss. - The Ellisville Police Department began collecting donations for Hurricane Harvey victims Friday, and now have an entire 18-wheeler filled with many non-perishable items, water, and food supplies.
Officers are very pleased with how many people stepped up to help those who are in need.
Ellisville Police Officer, Brandon Holston said, "It shows a lot of support from our community and for Texas. We'll show the same amount of support for anybody else. We're a very supportive community. We come together in times of need. And we'll come together for anybody that needs our service."
