JCJC collects $12,000 worth of items for Hurricane Harvey victims
ELLISVILLE, Miss. - JCJC started its donation drive for Hurricane Harvey victims Friday, and have collected various items.
24 pallets filled an 18-wheeler, which included non-perishable items, cleaning supplies, and water that is worth around $12,000.
Vice President of Marketing, Finee Ruffin said, "I think it says that we're a bunch of people who really care about others, and we take care of our own. But, we also pay it forward and take care of others. We know what it's like to hurt, and to be thirsty, and to be hot, and with love bugs everywhere. So, we definitely want to send a little love their way."
The donations are scheduled to arrive in North Houston Tuesday afternoon.
