JCJC head coach Steve Buckley is pleased with his team's performance against Mississippi Delta

ELLISVILLE, Miss. - JCJC beat Mississippi Delta 51-10 Thursday night at home after suffering a 47-34 loss to East Mississippi back in week one.

Head coach, Steve Buckley said he is proud of the effort his team displayed against Mississippi Delta.

"We executed in all three phases. I think the first four drives we scored. No penalties, no turnovers, stayed in front of the chains offensively. I thought it was kind of a tribute to our defensive staff. They took the opening drive, and drove down the field and got a field goal. After that, we made a couple of adjustments, settled down on what they were doing offensively. And I thought in the kicking game, we were very sound all night on what we were trying to do," said Buckley.

The Bobcats will travel to Clarksdale next week to take on Coahoma, where they are looking to capture their second win in a row.
