Hattiesburg man behind bars for child abuse

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Hattiesburg police arrested a man Monday. after he was accused of beating a child with an extension cord.

Hattiesburg Police arrested 28-year-old London Wright and he appeared in court Wednesday. Police say they found severe physical trauma on the child's back, face and legs.

Wright's bond is set at $500,000.
