City of Hattiesburg Warns Residents of Email Scam

Hattiesburg, Mississippi – Today, a Hattiesburg resident made city officials aware of an email scam regarding parking tickets.
According to Kermas Eaton, city clerk, all tickets issued by the City of Hattiesburg’s Parking Division are paper. “Notice will not be delivered electronically,” he said.
City of Hattiesburg officials remind all residents to pay careful attention to any email or phone correspondence that asks for personal information.
