Hattiesburg Teen Killed In A Home Invasion.

A Hattiesburg teen is dead and another is in custody after a home invasion. It happened Sunday night near the intersection of Orange Street and Xavier Street when a homeowner shot a suspect breaking into his home.

Police say 17-year-old Justin Woodland was killed in the home invasion, and a second man 29-year-old Anton Smith was arrested and charged with armed robbery and burglary.

A third suspect was questioned but later released. No charges have been filed against the homeowner, but police say the case will be presented to a grand jury.
