Mars Wrigley Executive Speaks at USM's Inspired Leaders Series

Vice President of Multi Channel for the Mars Wrigley Company and USM alum, Edward Taylor spoke to the college of business Thursday at USM's Scianna Hall.

"I believe and my philosophy was... if I do that, get the right experience and get the right things in my bag. I call them tools in my my bag. If get the right tools in my bag, spend the right amount of time doing the right amount of things, the money will come," Taylor said.

"I see so many people now, chasing the dollar. You can do that, nothing wrong with it," Taylor said. "I'm just saying it's more important to put the right tools and skills in the basket, than to chase the dollar."

Taylor graduated from USM in 1987, and prior to his current position he served as vice president of U.S. Sales and Operations for the Wrigley Company.
