LPD: Judge sets bond in burglary cases

Laurel Police arrest a man on burglary charges.

Police say officers responded Tuesday to a burglary in progress in the 1200 block of West 10th Street. Officers later apprehended the suspect, David Chad Petty.

Authorities say the police department later learned Petty allegedly burglarized another home in the 900 Block of North 9th Avenue.

Petty faces two counts of Residential Burglary. A judge set Petty’s bond at $25,000 per count.
