JCJC Social Science Instructor Stacy Ruth Chosen As Humanities Teacher Of The Year

The Mississippi Humanities Council name Jones County Junior College's social science instructor, Stacy Ruth as the JCJC Humanities Teacher of the Year. The Mississippi Humanities Council presented Ruth with a cash reward for her accomplishment.

"It's the Mississippi Humanities Council and it's a huge honor to think that the administration and my colleagues think that I was worthy of such an award, and I am thrilled and excited about the opportunity," Ruth said. "It's great to know that people recognize your work and people recognize your love for teaching and there is no doubt that I love teaching and I love the kids, and I love personal one-on-one interaction so this is a great opportunity to show a little personality, and also have a little fun, and also get a little education in."
