HATTIESBURG MISS. - The Historic Hattiesburg Downtown Association will host its annual Art Walk and Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 11th from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. in downtown Hattiesburg. This Art Walk has something for everyone!
There will be a variety of local artists, artisan crafters, and musicians participating, featuring painting, photography, drawing and sculpture exhibitions, live music, demonstrations, paint your own pottery for kids, and a “Chalk the Walk” competition! With the Streets closed and most of the downtown businesses open late- you can feel free to bring the family, grab a bite and wander around downtown and explore.
Stop by our information booth and pick up a map- then head out and discover Downtown! Check out all the artists and artisan crafters booths that line the street along Main Street. Take in the amazing Mississippi Bicentennial photo exhibition, “Celebrating the Storytellers”, that fills the windows of various businesses and storefronts along Main and Front Streets.
These photo essays captured by our Hattiesburg storytellers, celebrate the uniqueness and personality that is Hattiesburg. Explore the various Galleries and shops like OddFellows, the Kress Gallery, The Open Studio on Front, McKenzie’s on Main, Old Town Gifts, Southern Fried Comics, Main Street Books and the Little Gallery.
