Independence Bowl Tailgate Tickets on Sale

HATTIESBURG, MISS. - Southern Miss's football team makes their third straight bowl appearance and will be taking on Florida State in the Walk-On's Independence Bowl at the Independence Stadium located in Shreveport, LA. The Southern Miss Alumni Association and Eagle Club will be hosting a pregame tailgate party. Eagle Club and Alumni Association members can register for the tailgate now through tomorrow morning at 8AM, when it will open to all fans. "It is important that people understand that the availability for the tickets will begin tomorrow morning at 8AM for the general public," USM's executive director of the alumni association, Jerry DeFatta said. "They are twenty dollars each, and children ten and under receive complimentary admission." Game-day is Dec. 27, and the tailgate will take place right before the game from 10AM-12PM.
