Jones County Junior College Hosts Their Holiday Blood Drive

HATTIESBURG, MISS. – Jones County Junior College held its holiday blood drive today, allowing students to give blood in exchange for a hamburger.

“Holiday blood drives are always so important because our patients never take a holiday… their needs are twenty-four, seven,” United Blood Services’ senior donor recruitment representative, Beverly Clark said. “So, right at this present time we are asking all donors to come out and give the gift of life during the holidays… I tell everybody what better gift to give that doesn't cost a cent but it saves three lives and that's one pint of blood.”
