VisitHattiesburg host open house to promote local shopping

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - VisitHattiesburg hosted an open house Thursday to kick off a weekend of local holiday shopping in the Pine Belt.

Director of Communications and Digital Strategies, Paige Crane, said shopping local has a great impact on the economy for everyone.

“It gives back to our economy, it keeps us going. We also have all of our restaurants all across town and Hattiesburg was named on of the top 25 destinations in the nation for holiday shopping recently,” said Crane.
