Power restoration efforts underway with Dixie Electric
(The following is a press release from Dixie Electric.)
Downed trees and broken limbs from the weight of the snow are continuing to cause outages. As of 11:30 a.m. Friday, more than 7,600 members are without power.
Here is a current breakdown by county:
• Clarke – 7 • Covington - 71 • Forrest – 149 • Jones – 5,368 • Perry – 206 • Wayne – 1,482
Linemen are working to repair the lines.
