NWS issues Hard Freeze Warning for Pine Belt

A Hard Freeze Warning is in effect for the Pine Belt until Thursday.

Forecasters say temperatures will fall below freezing later today and should remain below freezing until Thursday morning. Overnight lows will drop into the teens tonight and Wednesday night. Wednesday's afternoon high is expected to rise above freezing briefly.

Exposure to the cold could lead to hypothermia and may harm pets and livestock. Also, exposed plumbing is in danger of being damaged.
