USM Earns Gold Status as a Military Friendly School

HATTIESBURG, MISS. - The USM Golden Eagles earned a gold status as a Military Friendly School. The university received the honors from Victory Media, as it is one of only 10 research institutions in the country to receive this distinction. The Military Friendly Schools list is created each year based on extensive research for more than 8,000 schools nationwide. This particular status measures an organization's commitment, effort and success in creating sustainable and meaningful benefits for the military community.
