William Carey and United Blood Services Partner Together

HATTIESBURG, MISS. - William Carey is helping the United Blood Services replenish its blood supply after its depletion following the extreme winter weather experienced last week through a blood drive tomorrow.

“Tomorrow there will be a blood drive in this exact location at the Student Conference Center here at William Carey University on the Hattiesburg Campus,” William Carey Admissions Counselor, Brennan Pitts said. “It will be through the United Blood Services and it will run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. So, come out and give some blood and do some good.”

The United Blood Services lost over 800 units of blood following the extreme winter weather. Now, they’re hoping William Carey University can help them put some of the blood back on those shelves.
