City of Hattiesburg: Mardi Gras parade canceled

The City of Hattiesburg says organizers of the 2018 Caerus Mardi Gras Parade have decided to cancel this year's event. Organizers are canceling the parade, which was scheduled for Saturday, due to the likelihood of thunderstorms in the forecast for this weekend.

The city says the parade will not be rescheduled. "Until next year, 'Laissez les bon temps rouler!'", the city added.
