McMahan Foundation donates $50,000 to ARC Southeast Mississippi

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The ARC was presented with a surprise monetary donation Wednesday afternoon.

The McMahan foundation gave $50,000 to the ARC of Southeast Mississippi to buy a brand new 15 passenger van.

Executive Director, Cindy Pennington said it is great means for ARC members to access and contribute to the community. “When you get contributions of this size, you’re just very emotional. You have an appreciation for everything people give you no matter how big, how little. It’s just so meaningful, because you work so hard to keep your organization going and when you get a gift like this its just a very humbling gift you know?”

Each year the McMahan Board of Directors go out in the community and help a non-profit organization in need of financial assistance and materials.
