United Blood Services Spreads the Love this Valentine's Day

HATTIESBURG, MISS. - United Blood Services is feeling the love this Valentine’s Day. On Wednesday, Feb. 14 United Blood Services collected blood donations on South 28th Avenue in Hattiesburg, Miss. Blood donors received a dessert from Jody’s bakery, a $25 restaurant gift card and a blood donation t-shirt. “Today we are out with Jody’s Bakery again with some special sweet treats for our blood donors in celebration of Valentine’s Day,” Donor Recruitment Supervisor Katie Martin said. “What better way to show your love for your community and your friends and neighbors than rolling up your sleeve and giving the gift of life.” United Blood Services is accepting all blood types, but type O-negative blood is always in high demand.
