One Man Faces Charges for Bringing A Gun to a Local High School's Campus. Second man, Faces Mole

HATTIESBURG, MISS. – Friday, the Laurel Police Department (LPD) held initial court appearances for two serious crimes. A man was spotted with a rifle on Laurel's High School campus early Friday morning at 2am. LPD identified the man as 30-year-old Erich Taylor. No students were present during the time of the incident, and police have not reported any threats. LPD says Taylor faces one count of Possession of a Weapon on School Property Also, Thursday evening, LPD received a report of Child Molestation. Witnesses reported that the suspect, 36-year-old Jeffery Walley inappropriately touched an underage female. Thursday evening LPD arrested Walley and charged him with one count of Molestation.
