Death Investigation on Dewey Street

HATTIESBURG, MISS. - Hattiesburg police are waiting for an autopsy report to determine the cause of death of a 63-year-old Hattiesburg woman.

Deborah McGee was found unresponsive inside a residence in the 1200 block of Dewey Street Sunday. Police were responding to a 911 call from the address. The body has been taken to the Mississippi State Crime Lab in Jackson for an autopsy. Right now, officials are only calling it a death investigation. Ms. McGee was employed as a teacher at Antonelli College in Hattiesburg. A vigil will be held at 10 a.m. for McGee located on the lawn of Antonelli College.
