Hattiesburg, MS (Tuesday, April 3, 2018) -- Jimmy Buffett and his Acoustic Airmen, who are Coral Reefers Mac McAnally, Robert Greenidge, Eric Darken, Nadirah Shakoor and Tina Gullickson along with special guests Sonny Landreth and ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro will perform a rare concert at the historic Saenger Theater in Hattiesburg, Mississippi for one night only, Thursday, April 26. Come early for a "Margaritaville-styled" street party in front of the theater beginning at 5pm. Don’t miss a unique concert with Jimmy and these very talented musicians, playing all the hits for a very special evening. The long-awaited Margaritaville musical, "Escape to Margaritaville," opened on Broadway in New York at the Marquis Theatre on March 15, 2018. It had its world premiere in La Jolla, California, and made pre-Broadway stops in New Orleans, Houston and Chicago. The original Broadway cast recording of the musical was recently released. Jimmy has a new and very special project just released titled Buried Treasure. As Jimmy describes it: “Buried Treasure is a unique collection of songs that I wrote in the early days of my career and recorded in Mobile and in Nashville. When we first found the tapes of Buried Treasure, I didn’t know that it would turn out to be such a unique situation where I’d actually get to honor and introduce the people who started me out.” Buried Treasure, Volume 1 was recently released on Mailboat Records in standard and deluxe packaging.
