HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Clothing and its role in the sexual assault victim-blaming narrative will be in the spotlight when the "What Were You Wearing When You Were Sexually Assaulted?" survivor art installation opens with a reception at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 5 and continues on display through May in the Cook Library Art Gallery on The University of Southern Mississippi Hattiesburg campus.

The installation, co-sponsored by the Southern Miss Committee on Services and Resources for Women (CSRW) and the Shafer Center for Crisis Intervention, features outfits worn by survivors of sexual assault that have been recreated through a collaboration of various campus organizations.
