Missing teen still believed to be on the run with former Forrest county teacher


HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Police are still searching for a missing teenager who is believed to be on the run with a former Forrest county school teacher.

“Currently we don’t have any new suspects for this case however we are still interviewing and still investigating, and still developing leads," said Hattiesburg Police Detective LaTosha Meyers.

16-year-old Oscar O’neal was reported missing around 1 a.m. Monday. Police were lead to believed that he could be with 30-year-old Nicole Jackson.

“She does have a current warrant...from the circuit court and she also has for contributing to the delinquency of the minor and there could be other charges – additional sexual battery charges that can be assessed to her,”

About a month ago Jackson was arrested and charged with sexual battery, but shortly made bail on a $10,000 bond.

“She was in a position of authority to the student that she was having the sexual relationship with...which makes it against the law to have a sexual relationship with that student,”

It is believed that O’Neal and Jackson maybe traveling in a dark blue impala with a Mississippi license plate that reads F-R-A-4-4-5-4.

“If you see them do not try to approach them. Immediately call 911 and give your location and give a description of what they’re wearing,”
