Local Eatery Raises Money for National Police Week
HATTIESBURG, MISS. - Monday, May 14 marked National Police Week, and a local restaurant wants to help out the Hattiesburg Police Department. Fuzzy's Taco Shop decided to donate a portion of Monday’s sales to the police department, in an attempt to show their gratitude to the men and women in blue. “Today kicks off police week so, we thought it would be a great idea to donate ten-percent of our sales today back to the Hattiesburg Police Department’s benevolent fund,” restaurant manager, Trey Ziegler said. “We had a great turn out for lunch and we expect a great turn out for dinner, and we're just excited to be able to contribute and be a part of the community.” The fundraiser ends Monday night at 10 p.m.
