City of Laurel making water system repairs this weekend

LAUREL - Officials with the City of Laurel say repair work on the water system is planned for Sunday, August 19th, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Officials say this will likely affect residents and businesses north of Northview Drive and west of University Avenue, including the Windemere Subdivision.

City officials add it's possible boil water notices will be issued when water pressure is lost. Notices will be posted @cityoflaurel on Facebook and @cityoflaurelms on Twitter. For more details, call the city's action center at 601-428-6464.
